PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University baseball team will travel to Tahlequah, Okla., Tuesday (Mar. 20) for an MIAA game against Northeastern State University. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. (CST).
The Gorillas enter Tuesday's action 16-8 overall and 8-4 in MIAA play. Pitt State is tied for third place (with Northwest Missouri) in the MIAA standings. The Gorillas dropped two of three games in a weekend series against No. 5 Central Missouri Mar. 17-18.
The RiverHawks are 15-10 overall and 6-6 in MIAA play. NSU has won four straight games including a weekend sweep of Washburn in conference action.
The Gorillas game will be broadcast locally on 100.7 FM, 107.9 FM and 1340 AM with veteran broadcaster Eddie Lomshek calling the action on the Gorilla Sports Network. My Town Media will broadcast a select number of MIAA road games throughout the season as well as all post-season action.
