ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Kallie Bildner and John Charisse Williams scored 38 combined points to lead the Lindenwood University women's basketball team to an 81-61 over Pittsburg State University Saturday (Jan. 5) at Hyland Arena.
The Lions (10-1, 4-0 MIA) rushed out to a 16-6 first quarter lead against the Gorillas (11-2, 3-1 MIAA) to take control early en route to the squad's fifth consecutive victory of the season.
Kaylee DaMitz paced the Gorillas with a team-high 13 points, while Megan Scott came off the bench to contribute 12 points and seven rebounds.Â
Pitt State shot 37.1 percent from the field in the game, making 26 of 70 shots including only one 3-pointer. The Gorillas also converted eight of 14 free throws in the contest.
Kalie Bildner led all scorers with 26 points and 14 rebounds.

Wednesday (Jan. 9) when the Gorillas host Southwest Baptist UniversityÂ
