With the loss the Gorillas fall to 7-6 overall and 2-2 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on the season. The Jennies improved to 8-4 overall and 3-1 in the MIAA.
The Gorillas battled in all the sets but runs by the Jennies doomed them throughout.
