PITTSBURG -- The Pittsburg State University men's basketball jumped out to a fast start and never looked back in a 73-56 victory over Lincoln University Wednesday (Feb. 26) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court.
The Gorillas (10-17, 6-12 MIAA) built a 43-26 cushion at halftime and expanded their margin to as many as 22 points in the second half against the Blue Tigers (10-17, 7-11 MIAA). Pitt State snapped a five-game losing streak with the win.
Jah-Kobe led all scorers with 23 points in the game. A.J. Walker added 16 and Marcel Cherry contributed 12 points off the Pitt State bench. Christian Edmondson and Antonio Givens II each chipped in with eight points.
Cameron Potts was the lone Lincoln player to finish in double figures with 12 points.
