Claremore, Okla. – A game high of 21 points by Tristan Gegg led the Pittsburg State University women's basketball team past Rogers State University, 74-60.
The Gorillas (6-2, 2-1 MIAA) got out to an early 13-2 lead after the first quarter of play. Pitt State would use the early momentum to take a 32-17 advantage into the break. The Gorilla advantage would persist till the final buzzer.
Gegg would come into the game ranked 15th in career scoring with 1,205 points. Gegg finished the night with 21 points putting her one point behind 14th place Terry Barto in Pitt State history.
Erin Davis posted 12 points and three rebounds. Jayme Jackson would finish with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Pitt State returns to action Saturday (Dec. 11) in Tahlequah, Okla, to take on Northeastern State University.
