PITTSBURG -- Jayme Jackson and Sydnee Crain combined for 33 points to help fuel the Pittsburg State University women's basketball team to a 69-56 victory over Washburn University Saturday (Jan. 15) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court.
Jackson, who made seven of 11 shots from the floor, scored a career high 17 points lead the Gorillas (11-5, 6-4 MIAA). Crain added 16 points and converted four of Pitt State's seven 3-point field goals in the game. Tristan Gegg added 12 points in the contest.
Abby Oliver was the only Ichabods (5-9, 3-5 MIAA) player to score in double figures in the game.
