EMPORIA, Kan. — Tray Buchanan scored a game high 25 points to lead the Emporia State University men's basketball team to a 75-52 victory over Pittsburg State University Wednesday (Feb. 26) at William L. White Auditorium.
Buchanan posted a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. He made nine of 23 shots from the floor. Jumah'Ri Turner added 15 points for the Hornets (18-9, 15-6 MIAA).
Bobby Arthur-Williams Jr. also posted a double-double in the game to lead the Gorillas (8-19, 7-14 MIAA). He scored 14 points and added 11 rebounds in the contest. Ike Moore chipped in with eight points for Pitt State.
The Gorillas will close out regular season action Saturday (Feb. 26) when Pitt State travels to Wichita, Kan., to battle Newman University at 3:30 p.m. at Fugate Gym.
