Box Score EDMOND, Okla. - The Pittsburg State University baseball team scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat Northern State University, 7-4, Sunday (Feb. 5) in the UCO First Pitch Classic.

The Gorillas completed the three-day tournament with a 2-1 record.

PItt State fell behind 4-0 after one inning of play. The Gorillas battld back with one run on the second and three more in the fourth to knot the score at 4-4.

Parker Weddell, Dawson Pomeroy, Paul Panduro and Andrew Wisner combined to limit NSU (1-2) to one hit over the final five innings. Panduro (1-0), who tossed a clean eighth inning got the win, while Wisner recorded the final three out to pick up the save.

Joe Hamilton led the PItt State offensive attack, going 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Ryan Koval and and Connor Allen had two hits apiece. Koval scored twice and Allen drove in a pair of runs.
