Kearney, Neb. – The Pittsburg State volleyball program faced off with the 10
th ranked Nebraska-Kearney Lopers in the Health & Sports Center on Friday, Sept. 22. Set scores were 13-25, 16-25, 25-21, 17-25.
Senior outside hitter Janae Thurston (Peculiar, Mo.) finished with her sixth double-double of the season finishing with 10 digs. Junior setter Jadyn Jackson (Augusta, Kan.) claimed her fifth double-double of the season dishing out a team-high 36 assists and 14 digs. Sophomore libero Josie McCroskey (Springdale, Ark.) had 21 digs while Redshirt junior middle hitter Carly Clennan (El Dorado, Kan.) had two total blocks.
Up next for the Gorillas will be Fort Hays State on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. from Gross Memorial Coliseum.
