TOPEKA, Kan. - The Pittsburg State University volleyball team fell in four sets on Thursday (Oct. 3) against the Washburn Ichabods at Lee Arena to begin weekend action MIAA action.
Washburn (10-2, 1-2 MIAA) claimed the game with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 26-28, 25-15.
For the Gorillas (6-7, 1-2 MIAA)
Maliyah Johnson led the team with a season-high 13 kills.
Josie McCroskey accumulated 33 digs,
Jesa Wallace dished out 26 assists and
Anna Dean totaled four blocks.
Up next for Pittsburg State will be the Emporia State Hornets, Friday (Oct. 4) from White Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. (CDT).
