EMPORIA, Kan. - The Pittsburg State University volleyball team lost in three sets against Emporia State University on the road Friday (Oct. 4) at White Auditorium.
Set scores were 27-25, 25-16, 25-22.
For the Gorillas (6-8, 1-3 MIAA)
Ivy Fink led the team with 16 digs and 12 kills for her third double-double of the season.
Rylee Martin (12) and
Jesa Wallace (9) shared setting duties while
Carly Clennan and
Maddi LaPointe finished the match tied for the team lead with four total blocks.
Up next for Pittsburg State are the Newman University Jets on Tuesday (Oct. 8) to begin a three-game week in conference play.
