PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team will hit the road this weekend to continue MIAA action.
The Gorillas will play Rogers State at 7 p.m. (CDT) Friday (Oct. 4) from Soldier Field and wrap up the weekend action with a 1 p.m. match against Northeastern State at DeLoache Field.
Pitt State has compiled a 4-3-1, 0-1-1 MIAA record through eight matches this season. The Gorilla most recently tied Nebraska-Kearney, 2-2 (Sept. 27) before falling 2-0 against Fort Hays State (Sept. 29).
Coach
Wes Branstetter's squad has been spearheaded by graduate forward
McKenna Robinson (Butler, Pa.). Robinson, who currently is tied for the NCAA Division II lead in assists, with seven as well as one goal thus far this season.

River Riley (Vestavia Hills, Ala.) leads the team with three goals thus far. Freshman forward

Freshman goalkeeper
Jocelyn Kramar (Fort Collins, Colo.) has a 1.27 goals against average (GAA) with 19 saves in 495 minutes stationed between the sticks. Freshmen goalkeeper
Sabrina Schilt (Plano, Texas) has a 1.50 GAA with four saves to her name in 180 minutes on the field thus far. Junior
Macy Clements (Springville, Utah) is yet to allow a goal and has recorded two saves in 45 minutes of game action.
RSU is 1-7, 0-2 in the MIAA heading into the weekend. The Hillcats lone win of the season came against Ouachita Baptist (Sept. 12), 2-1 at Soldier Field. Rogers State began MIAA play with a 4-2 loss at Missouri Western and 2-0 at No. 9 Central Missouri.
Offensively, the Hillcats are led by Taylor Colmo with two goals socred and Amber Arnold leads the team with two assists provided. In goal, Tiffany Brittan in 360 minutes has a 2.00 GAA with 24 saves; and Marlou Frieling in 360 minutes has a 1.75 GAA with 24 saves and was credited with the lone win of the season.
NSU is 6-2, 0-2 in the MIAA coming into the weekend. The RiverHawks are coming off a 3-1 loss at No. 9 Central Missouri and 2-1 defeat at Northwest Missouri last weekend.
Offensively, Northeastern State is led by Whitney Gentry with four goals while Hannah Anderson and Sydney Taylor have provided two assists each this season to lead the team. Rebecca Partyka in 713 minutes has a 0.88 GAA with 30 saves and been a part of four shutouts this season.
