PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team will play host to the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Central Missouri this weekend.
The Gorillas will host the Bronchos at 2 p.m. (CDT) Friday (Nov. 1) at the Gorilla Soccer Pitch and Pitt State will entertain the Jennies Sunday (Nov. 3) at 2 p.m. Prior to Friday's match, the Gorillas will honor their outgoing senior class for the inaugural year of the program.

Pitt State has compiled a 7-6-2 overall record (3-4-2 MIAA) through 15 matches this season and the Gorillas are currently eighth in the conference standings. Last week,Pitt State claimed a 1-0 road win over Northwest Missouri and dropped a hard fought 1-0 decision to No. 20 Missouri Western. In the last five matches, the Gorillas are 3-2-0.

Sabrina Schilt (Plano, Texas) has a 1.38 GAA with six saves to her name in 196 minutes on the field thus far. JuniorÂ
Macy Clements (Springville, Utah) has a 0.81 GAA and rerecorded six saves in 111 minutes of game action.

Central Oklahoma is 8-5-3 overall, 5-2-3 in the MIAA and tied for fourth place in the conference standings. The Bronchos are 3-3-1 in road matches this season with victories over Southwestern Oklahoma (Sept. 5), Emporia State (Sept. 29) and Missouri Southern (Oct. 20).

Leading the charge on offense for UCO is Rebekah George with eight goals and three assists. Madison Linavong is second on the team with five goals while providing two assists. Caleah Carter has provided a team leading four assists and added four goals to her tally.

In goal, Avery Bass has a 1.40 GAA with 50 saves in 1026 minutes between the sticks while claiming four shutouts.

Central Missouri enters the week at 10-4-2 overall (7-2-1 MIAA). The Jennies are tied for second place in the MIAA standings. UCm is 3-2-2 in road matches this season with victories over Illinois-Springfield (Sept. 8), Fort Hays State (Oct. 4) and Nebraska-Kearney (Oct. 6).

On offense, Caroline Cole and Ashleigh Martin lead the charge with seven goals each. Izzy Joyce is next on the team leaderboard for goals with six. Cole is also the team leader with five assists and three game winning goals. Lexie Ruf and Aspen Patterson rank second on the team with four assists provided.

Kristen Wright has been the primary goalkeeper this season for UCM and has a 0.73 GAA with 70 saves in 1235 minutes and been a part of all eight shutouts the team has accumulated this season.
