PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team will wrap up a four-match MIAA road swing this weekend.
The Gorillas will travel to Emporia, Kan., to battle Emporia State University Friday (Oct. 11) at 2 p.m. (CDT) at the ESU Soccer Pitch and then journey on to Topeka Sunday (Oct. 13) for a 1 p.m. match-up against Washburn University at Yager Stadium.
Pitt State has compiled a 4-4-2 overall record (0-2-2 MIAA) through 10 matches this season. Last week the Gorillas played to a 1-1 draw against Rogers State before dropping a 3-1 decision to Northeastern State.

Jocelyn Kramar (Fort Collins, Colo.) has a 1.51 goals against average (GAA) with 29 saves in 654 minutes stationed between the sticks. Freshmen goalkeeper
Sabrina Schilt (Plano, Texas) has a 1.50 GAA with four saves to her name in 180 minutes on the field thus far. Junior
Macy Clements (Springville, Utah) is yet to allow a goal and has recorded two saves in 65 minutes of game action.
ESU is 3-3-2 overall (1-1-1 MIAA) heading into the weekend. The Hornets are coming off a 1-1 draw on the road against Fort Hays State Sunday (Oct. 6). This season at the ESU Soccer Pitch, the Hornets are 1-1-1 with a 3-1 loss against Central Oklahoma the last time out (Sept. 29).
Offensively, ESU is led by Megan Jeremias with three goals while Sade Lee has a team-leading two assists. Mackenzi Goen has been stationed in goal for 701 minutes with a 1.54 GAA and 37 saves.
WU is 5-2-2 overall (2-0-1 MIAA) coming into the weekend. The Ichabods beat Nebraska-Kearney, 3-0, on the road in their lone action last week. This season Washburn is 1-2-1 at Yager Stadium with a 3-0 win over Newman in the most recent home action on Sept. 29.
Offensively, Washburn is led by Ana Muruzabal with three goals and one assist. Muruzabel is one of 11 Ichabods this season to provide an assist this season. Hailey
