WEATHERFORD, Okla. — The Southwestern Oklahoma State University posted a 1-0 victory over the Pittsburg State University women's soccer Saturday (Sept. 21).
The Bulldogs (2-3-1) secured the game's only goal on a penalty kick by Julie Anderson in the 43rd minute.
Pitt State managed 11 shots, including three on goal, in the match.
The Gorillas, who slipped to 4-2-0 on the season with the loss, will return to Pittsburg to open MIAA play next Friday (Sept. 27) against the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
