WICHITA, Kan. - The 13th ranked Pittsburg State University women's basketball team picked up a 77-50 win on the road against the Newman University Jets on Thursday (Jan. 9) to conclude the weekend in Fugate Gymnasium.Â

Savannah Campbell led the team with a career-high 18 points off the bench.Â
Harper Schreiner stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, going 6-of-6 from the field and made a pair of threes to go with six rebounds, five assists and four steals.Â
Karenna Gerber notched her 29th career double-double, her third in the last four games with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
As a team, Pitt State shot .435 from the field and .400 from three, maintained a 51-28 advantage on the boards, led for 38:55 of the game and provided 21 assists on 30 made field goals.
Up next for the Gorillas will be a home weekend against Rogers State University (Jan. 15) and the University of Central Oklahoma (Jan. 18) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court.
