Box Score WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Chase Wilcox doubled home Will Krzykowski with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the University of Central Missouri baseball team to a 7-6 win over Pittsburg State University Saturday (Mar. 1).
The No. 20 ranked Gorillas (10-3, 2-3 MIAA) took a 4-3 lead into the bottom of the eighth inning, but Vince Tobol smacked a three-run home run to give the No. 4 ranked Mules (11-2, 5-0 MIAA) a brief 6-4 advantage.

Pitt State countered with a game-tying two-run homer from
Dagen Brewer with one out in the top of the ninth. The Gorillas loaded the bases in the 10
th but UCM's Bryce Taylor (2-0) fanned
Rickey Sanchez to end the scoring threat.

Krzykowski singled to shortstop off Pitt State reliever
Cooper Crouch to open the bottom of the 10
th inning. Dane Johnson, who had three hits and four RBI on the day, bunted Krzykowski to second. Crouch (0-1) then walked intentionally Tobol before Willis delivered the game-winning hit.

Kolby Dougan tossed a season high 109 pitches for the Gorillas. He limited the Mules to three runs on five hits over 7.0 innings of work. The MIAA strikeouts leader fanned seven batters in the game.

Sanchez went 4-for-6 at the plate and scored two runs.
Hayden Dyer also had three hits and an RBI in the contest.

Pitt State and UCM will wrap up the three-game MIAA series with a 1 p.m. (CST) game Sunday (Mar. 2) at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field.
