Frison Named to NABC All-District Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Pittsburg State University sophomore guard Jordan Frison was named to the first-team All-District Team for the NCAA Division II Central Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Frison, the 2024-25 MIAA Player of the Year, averaged 18.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game while helping the Gorillas to an 18-12 record and a berth in the semifinals of the MIAA Postseason Tournament.

The Memphis, Tenn., native leads the MIAA and ranks sixth in Division II in assists. He also ranks second in the MIAA in scoring. He set a new Pitt State single season record with 183 assists this winter.

Frison, the 2023-24 MIAA Freshman of the Year and an honorable mention All-MIAA performer during his rookie campaign, has scored 911 points (14.9 ppg) and dished out 342 assists (5.6 apg) in 61 career games for the Gorillas.

The five members of the NABC first-team All-District squad advance to the national ballot from which the 2024-25 NABC NCAA-II All-America Team will be selected later this month.
