KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The University of Central Oklahoma men's basketball team shot 58 percent from the field to knock off Pittsburg State University, 93-81, in the semifinals of the 2025 MIAA Postseason Tournament Saturday (Mar. 8).
The Bronchos (19-12) advance to Sunday's 1 p.m. MIAA Tournament Championship Game, where they await the winner of the second semifinal match-up between Fort Hays State University and Rogers State University. The Gorillas season ends with an 18-12 overall record.
Jordan Frison scored a game-high 28 points to pace Pitt State. Frison made 11 of 22 shots from the floor in 37 minutes of action.
Tane Prictor posted career highs of 16 points and 17 rebounds and
Johannes Kirsipuu chipped in with 13 points.

Avery Taggart added 10 points apiece in their final collegiate games.
Israel Hart led a balanced UCO attack with 22 points. J.V. Seat added 21 points and eight rebounds and Jacobi Sebock finished with 19 points and six rebounds. The Bronchos made 30 of 52 shots in the game; and UCO converted 26 of 34 free throws. The Bronchos outscored the Gorillas, 26-14, at the free throw line.
