The Gorillas posted a 9-5 win in the early game before the Bronchos turned the tables with a 10-5 win in the nightcap.

Alex Rodgers,
Dagen Brewer and
Josh Holmes all homered for the Gorillas in game one. Rodgers collected three hits and score twice in the contest. Holmes smacked a two-run homer and drove in three runs.

The Gorillas led 6-3 before the Bronchos plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth to trim the margin to 6-5. Pitt State plated three insurance runs in the top of the ninth thanks to an RBI double by
Drew Bugner, a sacrifice fly from Holmes and a run-scoring hit from Rodgers.

Starter
Kolby Dougan improved to 4-0 on the season. He limited the Bronchos to three hits in 7.0 innings of work and registered 12 strikeouts. He allowed just one hit over his final four innings pitched after allowing a two-run homer to Orlando Gonzalez and a solo homer to Caden Robertson earlier in the game.

Elijah Seitz recorded the final four outs to earn the save. He came into the contest with the Gorillas leading 6-5 in the eighth and struck out Gonzalz to end UCO's rally in the frame before sitting down the side in the ninth.

Nixon Brannan and Brewer each homered in the nightcap. The Gorillas led 3-1 in the game, but the Bronchos plated nine runs over the final five innings of play to pull in front.

The Gorillas wrap up the series with a 13-5 record (4-5 MIAA). UCO exited the series at 16-5 overall and 6-3 in MIAA play.
