Heather Arnett was announced as a third-team College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division II Academic All-American®.
Arnett was a first-team Academic All-American® last season and becomes the fourth Gorilla in program history to earn Academic All-American® honors in consecutive seasons.
An elementary education major with a 3.77 cumulative GPA, Arnett finished the season as the Division II statistical champion for batting average at .495. Among Division II ranks this season her 95 hits were fourth best, 1.17 runs per game ranked seventh, 63 runs scored were ninth, 40 stolen bases ranked 13th, 0.74 stolen bases per game were 21st and .519 on base percentage ranked 27th. A first-team All-American by the D2CCA and a second-team selection by the NFCA this season at shortstop.
