Gorillas To Begin Spring Semester In Texas

PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University men's golf team is set to begin the spring semester down in Texas at the Rattler Invite on Monday (Feb. 16).
 
The Gorillas will tee off on holes 7-10 at 8:15 a.m. (CST) in San Antonio, Texas at The Dominion Country Club.
 
Pittsburg State ended the fall semester with a third place team finish at the Tulsa Cup (Oct. 27-28) with Tyler Hardtarfer and Mason White recording Top-10 finishes.
 
This week for the Gorillas, the competing five will be Jack Randall, White, Hardtarfer, Keaton Thissen and Bradin Stahl.  White ended the fall semester with a 73.0 average round score and a pair of Top-10 finishes. Hardtarfer last semester averaged 72.5 per round and finished Top-10 at three tournaments. Thissen finished the fall with a 75.5 average round score and registered a 22nd place finish at the Tulsa Cup. Stahl in two tournament finished with a 79.8 round score and at the Tulsa Cup finished in 62nd.
