BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team wrapped up the Tulsa Cup with a third place finish on Tuesday (Oct. 28), at the Indian Springs GC as the duo of
Tyler Hardtarfer and
Mason White achieved another Top-10 finish this semester.
Hardtarfer (-3, T-8th) accomplished a rare hole in one on the 223-yard par three fourth hole, helping him move up seven spots on the individual leaderboard and finish the day at -1. White (-5, T-5th) finished the day +1 and completed his third straight tournament with a Top-20 finish.
Keaton Thissen (+2, T-22nd),
Cooper Forth (+7, T-53rd) and
Bradin Stahl (+9, T-62nd) rounded out the team competing for the Gorillas.
Central Missouri claimed the team title (-12) with CJ Phillips (-8) from UCM and Jose Arzu (-8) from Harding representing the top individual golfers.
Pittsburg State will be off until February 16th when the team will compete at the Rattler Invite in San Antonio, Texas at The Dominion CC.
