SPRING, Texas - The Pittsburg State University women's golf team completed the first day of The Southern Invite at the Cypresswood Golf Course on Monday (Feb. 16).

As a team, Pittsburg State sits in 13th with a pair of individuals in the Top-50.

Kymbree Larance (+7+5) leads the team in 40th, Kylee Hopper (+9/+6) is 50th, Genevieve Akers (+11/+5) sits 54th, Katherine Adkins (+14/+3) is 57th, Abby Ervin (+9/+12) finished the day at 71st and Charlotte Kerbs (+18/+16) is 78th.

The University of Texas - Tyler leads the team ranks at +6 (-3/+9) after 36 holes with Martha Laremark from UT-Tyler the top individual at -1 (-1/E).
