KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The MIAA has released the bracket for the 2026 MIAA Basketball Championships that will take place at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.

The Pitt State men earned the No. 8 seed in the tournament and the Gorillas will meet No. 9 seed University of Central Oklahoma at 6 p.m. (CST) Wednesday (Mar. 4) in first round action. The Gorillas (15-14, 9-10 MIAA) and Bronchos (16-15, 9-10 MIAA) met twice during the regular season with each squad winning on its home floor. Pitt State defeated UCO, 77-63, in Pittsburg on Dec. 4 before the Bronchos posted a 69-59 win at Edmond, Okla., on Jan. 17.
Gorilla fans can purchase tickets at the Pitt State Ticket Office or by calling (620) 235-4796. Advance tickets for all-session passes for all 18 men's and women's games to be played at Kansas City are $60. The price increases to $85 if purchased in Kansas City or through ticketmaster.com. Single session tickets also are available for $25 for adults and $10 for PSU students with a valid ID.
