WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Pittsburg State University women's team closed out the regular season schedule Saturday (Feb. 28) with a 73-58 road loss to the University of Central Missouri at the Jerry Hughes Athletics Center.
Camrie Phillips paced the Gorillas (18-10, 11-8 MIAA) with 13 points off the bench, while
Marin Adams added 12 points.
Marie Wembadjonga chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.
UCM (23-5, 17-2 MIAA), which claimed the 2026 MIAA Regular Season Championship earlier this week, placed four players in double figure scoring, including a game-high 17 points Neely Schaaf.
Pitt State will now await the release of the 2026 MIAA Postseason Tournament bracket later tonight.
