PITTSBURG -- The University of Central Oklahoma baseball team plated runs in six of seven innings en route to a 13-3 victory over Pittsburg State University Saturday (Mar. 21) at Al Ortolani Field.
The Bronchos (13-13, 4-8 MIAA) and Gorillas (24-3, 13-3 MIAA) will wrap up the three-game series with a 1 p.m (CDT) contest Sunday.
Noah Smallwood went 4-for-5 at the plate with three doubles, a home run and five RBI to spark UCO's 17-hit attack.
Eric Bacon doubled, tripled and drove in a pair of runs for the Gorillas. Jadyn McNeeley scored twice and stole a base.
Isaac Webb also went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Zach Voss (6-1) took his first loss of the season on the mound.Â
