PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University football team will open its 2026 Spring Drills Tuesday (Mar. 10).

Tom Anthony and his coaching staff welcome approximately 100 players into spring camp. The Gorillas posted a 10-3 record, captured a share of the MIAA Championship and qualified for the NCAA Division II national playoffs for a fourth straight season.
Pitt State will conduct Tuesday's practice at 6 a.m. at Carnie Smith Stadium. The Gorillas also will practice Thursday and Friday mornings. The squad will pause practice for Spring Break and then return to the practice field Tuesday, March 24.
Pitt State will entertain area high school coaches in conjunction with its practice on Friday, Apr. 10; and the Gorillas will host their annual Spring Game on Friday, Apr. 17, at Carnie Smith Stadium. The contest is open to the public.
