EDMOND, Okla. - Seniors Heather Arnett, Lexi Davis and Kadyn Trochim were announced as first-team All-Central Region by the Division II Coference Commissioners Association on Monday (May 18).

The trio were announced last week as being All-Region selections by the NFCA

Arnett ended her historic collegiate career with a final campaign for the ages with a.525 batting average, 114 hits, 81 runs scored, 38 stolen bases, 39 RBI, 15 doubles and seven triples. The Pittsburg, Kan., native leads Division II for hits, is tied for the division lead for runs scored and is second for batting average. At the time of writing Arnett in Division II history is third in season hits, tied for fourth in career hits (374), sixth in career runs scored (254), tied for sixth in season runs scored and tied for 15th for career stolen bases (155).

Davis completed her senior season with a .400 average, .766 slugging and .488 on base percentages for a team-high 1.254 OPS, the Harrisburg, Ark., native set a school record with 82 runs batted in this season for the second highest tally in MIAA history. As a primary catcher she became the first Gorilla since 2018 to be named All-MIAA first-team. This season, Davis hit a team-high 14 home runs to go with 70 hits, 50 runs scored, 18 doubles, 33 walks drawn and caught 11 runners attempting to steal. Among Division II ranks this season she is third at the time of writing for RBI and RBI per game (1.44).

Trochim finished the season hitting .446 with 78 hits, 76 RBI, 48 runs scored, 39 walks drawn, 18 doubles and eight home runs. In MIAA history her RBI tally this season is good for fifth for a single season. The Waco, Texas native ranks tied for fifth for RBI and ninth for RBI per game (1.29) among Division II ranks this season. 

The trio will advance to the NCAA Division II All-American ballot for D2CCA with the announcement of those chosen onto an All-American team set for Wednesday (May 27).
