GREENSBORO, N.C. — Three members of the Pittsburg State University baseball team have been named to the 2026 America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-America Team today (May 29).
Senior outfielder
Dagen Brewer was selected to the first-team All-America squad and senior catcher
Grant Nottlemann was picked to the second-team All-America squad. Senior outfielder
Isaac Webb also was tabbed a third-team All-America honoree.
Brewer batted .442 on the season with 87 runs scored, 24 doubles, 25 home runs and a Division II single-season record 107 RBI in 56 games played. Brewer (Topeka) led the MIAA in the triple crown categories. He ranks seventh in leads D2 in RBI (1.91 pg) and slugging percentage (.970); he ranks third in the country in runs scored and on base percentage (.573); and he ranks seventh nationally in batting average. Brewer, a 2025 NCAA Division II All-America selection, was a first-team All-MIAA pick as well as the MIAA Player of the Year honoree. He was additionally tabbed as a first-team All-American and the D2 Player of the Year by both the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) and the D2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) earlier this month.
Nottlemann hit .376 with 58 runs scored, 13 doubles five home runs and 55 RBI. The Lincoln, Neb., native was the first-team All-MIAA selection behind the plate and he received an MIAA Gold Glove with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 242 total chances. He also threw out 10 would be base stealers on the season. Nottlemann garnered first-team All-Region accolades from the ABCA, the NCBWA and the D2CCA.
Webb slashed .379/.464/.689 on the year. The Collinsville, Okla., native scored 66 runs, smacked 18 doubles, five triples and 12 home runs while driving in 81 runs. He also posted 41 stolen bases on the season. Webb was a second-team All-MIAA selection earlier this season as well as a second-team All-Region pick by the NCBWA.
The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 17, followed by the ABCA NCAA Div. II Region All-Defensive teams on Thursday, June 18. ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year for all divisions will be announced on Monday, June 22.
Pitt State finished the season with a school record 45-11 overall record. The Gorillas reached the NCAA Division II Central Region Final before bowing out to Augustana University, 13-7, Sunday (May 17). Pitt State captured the program's first-ever MIAA Regular Season Championship and the Gorillas claimed the school's second MIAA Postseason Tournament crown as well.
