ANDOVER, Kan. - Pittsburg State University senior
Kymbree Larance finished the first day of the MIAA Conference Preview tied for fifth after the first day of action at the Terradyne Country Club Monday (Sept. 21).
As a team, Pittsburg State is in 11th among 15 schools. Larance completed the first round of play in program history to finish under par with a -1 showing (70) from a trio of birdies and two bogies.
Elise Eckert (+5) finished T-42nd,
Charlotte Kerbs (+6) finished T-50th,
Abby Ervin (+7) is T-59th and
Mary Bina (+14) finished T-79th after 18-holes of action.
Southwestern Oklahoma State leads the team standings at +3 with Maria Velilla (-4) of SWOSU the leading individual out of 85 participants.
The Gorillas will begin the final round of the MIAA Conference Preview Tuesday (Sept. 22) at 8:30 a.m. (CT) on holes 9-11.
