BETHANY, Okla. - The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team picked up their fourth win of the season, 1-0 on Saturday (Sept. 5) against Southern Nazarene University at the Wanda Rhodes Soccer Complex.
Ryann Caruth for Pittsburg State (4-0) notched her fourth goal of the season, the third game winner for the senior forward and reigning MIAA Offensive Player of the Week.
Danae Hobson provided the assist for Caruth's goal at 28:57.
Hobson finished with a match-high four shots and alongside Caruth finished as the only players in the game to collected a pair of shots on goal.
Jocelyn Kramar picked up the shutout win in goal after saving three second half shots.
As a team, PSU held a19-7 advantage over SNU (0-2-1) for shots, 8-2 for shots on goal and 9-0 for corner kicks.
Up next for Pittsburg State will be the Southwest Baptist University Bearcats on Wednesday (Sept. 9) at the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar, Mo. at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
