Fifth-year player… a talented left-handed pitcher… will look to be a key member of the Pitt State pitching staff again this spring… In 2017: Made 26 relief appearances... posted a 7-2 record with a 5.33 ERA... registered 54 strikeouts in 52.1 innings of work... earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention... In 2016: Made 17 appearances, including 11 starts… posted a 2-2 record with a 5.92 ERA… registered 49 strikeouts in 59.3 innings of work… scattered three hits in 7 innings of work with six strikeouts to pick up a victory vs. Lincoln (Apr. 10)… In 2015: Made eight appearances, including three starts… posted a 1-2 record with a 7.30 ERA in 24.7 innings of work… In 2014: Redshirt season… In High School:  A stand-out prep player for Park Hill High School… a two-year starter for the Trojans… Personal:  Born May 22, 1995… son of Jeremy Gardner and Nickie Provenzano... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.11 GPA as a marketing major.
