Summary

Biography

General: Sixth-year player… a talented linebacker who is primed for a big redshirt senior season… a returning three-time All-MIAA performer who will look to be an impact performer for the Gorillas again this fall… has compiled 172 career tackles (88 solo) with 22.5 tackles-for-loss, 6.0 quarterback sacks, six interceptions and 13 pass breakups… voted a PSU team captain for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

2023: Started in all 12 games played… posted 60 tackles (26 solo) with 4.0 tackles-for-loss, 1.5 quarterback sacks, one interception and six pass breakups… a first-team All-MIAA selection… made a career best 12 tackles vs. Missouri Western (Nov. 4).

2022: Started 11 of 13 games in 2022… made 63 tackles (36 solo) with 14.0 tackles-for-loss, 3.5 quarterback sacks… also posted three forced fumbles, two interceptions and two pass breakups… garnered third-team All-MIAA honors.

2021: Started eight of 10 games played in 2021… posted 34 tackles (18 solo) with 2.0 tackles-for-loss, two interceptions and four pass breakups… made a season high eight tackles vs. UNK (Sept. 11)… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors.

2020: Started three of four games played in 2020… made 15 tackles (eight solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 quarterback sack, an interception and a pass breakup.

2019: Redshirt season.

HS: The Missouri Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Webb City High School in 2018… made 110 tackles and five interceptions his senior season… a two-time All-State performer (2017-18)… helped WCHS to an unblemished 15-0 record and the Class 4A state championship as a junior in 2017.

Personal: Born March 2, 2001… Son of Jason and Debbie Gaskill… A multipel year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.16 GPA as an exercise science major.
