General: Enters her fifth season in the Pitt State program… a two-time All-MIAA performer for the Gorillas (2019, 2021)… has compiled 1,107 career digs… In 2021: Played in 28 matches for the Gorillas earning a spot as a All-MIAA performer… posted a team leading 414 digs (4.3dps) putting her 10th in the MIAA… In 2019: Started four of 30 matches played… averaged a team-leading 3.98 digs per set, ranking ninth in the MIAA… posted a career best 25 digs vs. Newman (Oct. 1)… registered 15 or more digs in 14 matches on the season… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors… In 2018: Started 30 of 31 matches played… averaged 2.22 digs per set and 0.71 kills per set on the season… recorded a season high 14 kills vs. Central Missouri (Oct. 13) and a season best 18 digs vs. Emporia State (Nov. 2)… In High School: A three-time All-League selection at Silver Lake High School… finished her high school career with 1,466 kills, 229 service aces and 1,053 digs… Personal: Daughter of Robert and Janice Bates… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and an MIAA Scholar Athlete… graduated from Pitt State with a bachelor’s degree in marketing… currently has a 3.50 GPA while pursuing a master’s of business administration (MBA) degree.
