2025 - Battled through an injury riddled season to appear in 11 games for the Gorillas with one midweek start ... Finished the season with 13.0 innings pitched and 14 strikeouts.

2024 - Appeared in 19 games from the pen for the Gorillas, owning a 4-1 record with one save in 30.0 innings ... Named a second-team All-MIAA relief pitcher ... Finished with a 4.20 ERA and 1.23 WHIP having 28 strikeouts, six walks and opponents hitting .258 against him.

2023 - Appeared in 19 games from the bullpen for a 1-1 record in 30.2 innings of work ... A 4.40 ERA on the season with 25 strikeout and only six walks issued opposing batter hit .233 against Dowd.

2022 - Made three relief appearances on the season.

Prior to PSU - Spent one season with the Tigers of Cowley Community College … Made nine appearances with a 2-0 record, a 6.00 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 15 innings of work … Helped the Tigers to a 47-10 record and a Jayhawk East conference title.

HS - An All-Conference performer at McDonald County High School where he posted a 2.02 ERA his senior season for the Mustangs.

Personal - Born April 16, 2001 … Son of Craig and Brandi Dowd … A member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.50 GPA... Completed a bachelor's degree in exercise science and at the conclusion of the 2024-25 school year was working on obtaining a master's in educational leadership.
