Prior to PSU - Spent the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons at the University of Kansas where as a Jayhawk he appeared in 65 games ... Over the course of his career at Kansas, Dougan accumulated 114 strikeouts in 91.2 innings with a 3-4 record and two saves ... At Cloud County Community College in the 2021 season he went 8-5 with a 3.86 ERA in 70 innings while limiting opponents to a .215 batting average with 100 strikeouts to 26 walks for a 1.17 WHIP in 14 starts on his way to All-KJCCC West second-team honors.
