Biography

General: Enters his fifth season in the Pitt State program in 2025 ... Named a team captain in 2025 ... One of the premier punt returners in  Division II and a talented safety who is primed for a big redshirt senior campaign this fall … Has compiled 96 career tackles (43 solo) with four takeaways (2 INT, 2 FR) and seven pass break-ups … Has averaged 9.8 yards on 37 career punt returns.

2024: Started all 11 games … Made 47 tackles (24 solo), tops among returners for 2025 … Also registered one interception, two fumble recoveries and seven pass break-ups … Also averaged 10.8 yards on 27 punt returns … Posted a career-best eight tackles vs UCM (Nov. 2) and matched that total in the NCAA-II playoffs vs. Harding (Nov. 23).

2023: Started 12 of 13 games played … Posted 38 tackles (15 solo), one interception and three pass breakups … Averaged 9.7 yards on 14 punt returns on the season, earning honorable mention All-MIAA honors as a return specialist … Posted a career best seven tackles vs. ESU (Oct. 7) … Recorded six stops and an interception in the NCAA-II playoffs vs. GVSU (Nov. 25).

2022: Saw action in all 13 games … Compiled 11 tackles (four solo) with 1.5 tackles-for-loss … Averaged 7.4 yards on 12 punt returns.

2021: Redshirt season.

In High School: A first-team Texas Class 6A All-District performer as a senior at Prosper High School ... A two-year starter for the Eagles.

Personal: Born September 2, 2002 … Son of Ron and Wendy Medeiros … A three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.52 GPA as a construction management major.
