TFRRS

General: Completed her third season in the Pitt State program in 2024.

2024: Ran the 6k course at the UAH Chargers Inviational with a season-best time of 22:32.6 ... At the MIAA Championships (Oct. 26) in St. Joseph, Mo., ran the 6k course in a time of 23:31.6 to finish 52nd.

2023: At the MIAA Championships (Oct. 20) in Columbia, Mo., Kelsey finished 58th with a personal-best time of 24:15.1 on the 6k course.

2022: Finished the 5k course at the Southern Stampede (Sept. 17) in a personal-best time of 18:30.2.

HS: A standout prep athlete at Wichita's Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School.

Personal: Born April 9, 2004 … Daughter of Bryon and Jennifer Bruening … A member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.80 GPA as an exercise science major.
