Biography

General: Enters his fourth season in the Pitt State program in 2026 ... Made an impact as a true freshman in 2023 and is projected to be a contributor this fall after making a switch from linebacker to wideout.

2025: Played against No. 3 Grand Valley State (Sept. 13).

2024: Redshirted.

2023: Saw action in 12 games in a reserve role… posted 12 tackles (six solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss… also recorded four quarterback hurries.

HS: The Kansas Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Chanute High School in 2022 … Also a two-time Class 4A All-State selection (2021-22) … Posted 76 tackles with 16 tackles-for-loss and 9.0 quarterback sacks his senior season … Helped the Comets to a 9-1 record and the SEK League title in 2022.

Personal: Born January 12, 2005 … Son of Jeff and Hailey Dean … a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.42 cumulative GPA following the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year as a construction management major.
