Prior to PSU - Began her collegiate career at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith where she finished the season second in the MIAA for total blocks (12th in DII), fourth in blocks per set (1.32) (14th in DII) and 13th in the MIAA for points per set at 3.29 ... For the season, Smith accumulated 140.0 total blocks, 243 kills and 347.5 points to lead UAFS in each category.

HS - Prepped at Jasper High School where she was a four-time All-Conference on the volleyball court ... A three-time All-State selection that accumulated over 2,000 career kills, 300 total blocks and 250 service aces at JHS.
