Second-year player… a talented first baseman who will look to make an immediate impact for the Gorillas again this spring… In 2017: started 4 of 16 games played... batted .250 with three runs scored, two doubles, and six RBI... transferred to Pitt State from Independence Community College… In Junior College: Batted .289 with 52 runs scored, 12 doubles, eight HRs and 40 RBIs as a sophomore at Independence C.C. … earned honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference East honors… played his freshman season at Carl Albert State College… In High School:  A stand-out prep performer at Sapulpa High School… a three-year starter for the Chieftains… Personal:  Born November 3, 1995… son of Tom and Kristin Zanca… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.90 GPA as a biology (pre-medicine) major.
