Biography

Fourth-year player… a hard-working outfielder… will look to be a key contributor for the Gorillas again this spring… In 2017: Started 23 of 35 games played... batted .256 with 40 hits, two doubles and 12 RBI... went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs vs. Emporia State (Feb.27)... In 2016: Started 42 of 46 games played… batted .282 with 29 runs scored, seven doubles and 27 RBI… enjoyed 13 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5 game with two doubles, a homer and five RBI vs. Lincoln (Apr. 8)… In 2015: Redshirt season… In High School:  A three-time Kansas Class 3A All-State performer… selected the Kansas Class 3A Player of the Year after his senior season… Personal:  Born April 19, 1995… son of Curt and Candy Brecheisen... a physical education major.
