Fifth-year player… a talented right-handed pitcher… will look to be a key member of the Pitt State pitching staff again this spring… In 2017: Made 23 appearances including one start... posted a 0-1 record with a 9.26 ERA and five saves... registered 22 strikeouts in 23.1 innings of work...  In 2016: Made 17 appearances including five starts… posted an 0-5 record with a 9.89 ERA in 33.7 innings of work… In 2015: Made seven starts on the mound for the Gorillas… posted a 2-3 record with a 9.55 ERA in 21.7 innings of work before a season-ending injury… In 2014: Made 11 pitching appearances, including 10 starts, for the Gorillas… posted a 3-5 record with a 4.74 ERA in 57.0 innings of work… tossed a two-hit shutout in a complete-game victory over Washburn (Mar. 22)… allowed just one unearned run in 6.0 innings of work in a win vs. Northeastern State (Mar. 15)… In High School:  A three-year letterwinner at Raymore-Peculiar High School… earned All-Conference three times during his prep career for the Panthers… Personal:  Born January 29, 1995... son of Mark and Bonnie Lesmeister... a plastics engineering technology major.
