Biography

General: Fifth-year player… a hard-working offensive lineman… has evolved into a frontline performer for the Gorillas… expected to battle for a starting role at offensive guard again this fall.

In 2016-17: Saw action in all 12 games in a reserve role at guard in 2017… started all 10 games played at guard in 2016… missed week two vs. UCO (Sept. 8).

In 2014-15: Saw action in a reserve role in all 11 games at guard in 2015, after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2014). 

In High School: A two-time All-Sunflower League selection as an offensive lineman at Lawrence High School (2012-13)… also a three-time Kansas state wrestling qualifier… captured the 2014 Kansas Class 6A state championship at heavyweight… also a first-team All-State wrestling selection.

Personal: Born February 11, 1996… son of Adrian and Tammie Jones… a manufacturing engineering technology major.
