Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a veteran performer on the offensive line… will look to start at right tackle for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2013: Started all 12 games at right tackle on the offensive line.

In 2011-12: Saw action in eight games in a reserve role for the Gorillas in 2012, after competing in three games in 2011.

In 2010: Redshirted in his only season at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

In High School: An All-Area, All-Metro and All-Conference selection as a senior at Blue Springs High in 2009… helped Blue Springs to a state runner-up finish.

Personal: Born September 28, 1991… son of Barry and Janet Higgins… a physical education major
