Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a hard-working defensive lineman who figures to battle for a frontline role for the Gorillas this fall… competed at Fort Scott Community College before trasnferring to Pitt State… signed with the University of Arkansas out of high school.

In 2014: Saw action in five game in a reserve role… made two solo tackles on the season, including a tackle-for-loss and a quarterback sack.

At FSCC: Competed in eight games at Fort Scott CC in 2012… made 24 tackles with 1.5 quarterback sacks.

At Arkansas: Redshirted in his lone season with the Razorbacks (2010).

In High School: A Missouri Class 5A All-State selection as a senior at Joplin High School in 2009… also a two-time Kansas Class 3A All-State performer at Riverton High School (2007-08).

Personal: Born September 6, 1991… son of Robert and Emma Hefley… a physical education major.
