Biography

General: Second-year player… a returning All-MIAA cornerback… battling back from an injury that cut short his junior campaign… appears healthy and ready to be an impact player for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2017: Started all eight games played… made 28 tackles (24 solo) with 3.0 tackles-for-loss, one interception and nine pass break-ups… ranked fifth in the MIAA in passes defended (1.25 pg)… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors.

In Junior College: A first-team All-Conference selection as a sophomore at Santa Monica College… posted 61 tackles and four interceptions on the season

In High School: A stand-out prep performer at William G. Enloe High School… a three-year starter for the Eagles.

Personal: Born March 17, 1995… son of Lowell and Bonita Lewis… a recreation major.
