Biography


General: Fifth-year player… a talented linebacker who made the most of his opportunity when thrust into the starting lineup in 2014… a returning All-MIAA player who is primed for a big senior season… expected to be a key cog in the Pitt State defense this fall.

In 2013: Started seven of 13 games… made 62 tackles (17 solo) with 8.0 tackles-for-loss and 0.5 quarterback sack… also posted one interception and one PBU… made his first collegiate start vs. Emporia State (Oct. 11)… earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors in the Gorillas’ 35-17 win over No. 1 ranked Northwest Missouri (Oct. 18), logging a career-high 17 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors.

In 2013: Appeared in 11 games in a reserve role and on special teams… tallied five tackles (two solo) on the season.

In 2011-12: Saw action in seven games in 2012… recorded six tackles (four solo) on the season… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2011).

In High School: A two-time Missouri Class 2A All-State performer at Lamar High (2009-10)… the Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year his final two seasons… recorded 471 career tackles… helped the Tigers to consecutive Class 2A state semifinal appearances.

Personal: Born August 10, 1992… son of Damon and Jill Hall… a four-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and an MIAA Scholar Athlete selection in 2014… has a 3.67 GPA as a history/government major.
