In 2017: Saw action in all 12 games, including 11 starts… posted 54 tackles (36 solo) with 9.5 TFLs, 2.0 quarterback sacks and two pass break-ups on the season… posted a career-best nine tackles vs. ATU (Dec. 2).
In 2016: Saw action in all 11 games, including nine starts… posted 49 tackles (30 solo) with 5.0 TFLs, 0.5 quarterback sack, one interception and two pass break-ups on the season… posted a season-high eight tackles vs. NSU (Sept. 17).
In 2015: Saw action in all 11 games, including four starts… made 23 tackles (13 solo) with 2.0 tackles-for-loss, 2.0 quarterback sacks, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles on the season… posted a season-high five tackles vs. UCO (Nov. 14)… also scored a 64-yard touchdown run on a successful fake punt against the Bronchos.
In 2014: Redshirt season.
In High School: A first-team All-League selection as a running back and defensive back at Manhattan High School… recorded four interceptions his junior year… a two-year starter for the Indians… battled injury his senior season.
Personal: Born March 30, 1996… son Rebecca Butry… a four-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and an MIAA Scholar Athlete… has a 3.70 GPA a psychology major.
